2015 Here We Come

HAPPY NEW YEARS!

New Year, new start? Some people think that a new year means new beginnings, a fresh start. Does it? You can use the new year as motivation to be the best you can for that year, and years to come. But how come we don't have this motivation through out the year? Some people might say it's because since it's a whole new year, you can start fresh from anything you messed up (Say if you break your new years resolution). There is this fresh motivation about a new year, but during the year, if you give up on your goal, does that mean you just have to wait till the next new year to start a new one? Nope. Use all the time you have for goals, and setting out to reach your goals. Time is limited, so make the best of it! Sure, make new years resolutions, but even if you break it, still pick it back up again; so you can say you kept with it. The new year can also be a check point in people's lives. As in, "Congrats! You made it another year. Keep going!"

Make sure your resolution is reasonable, and that you aren't hurting your self by setting a goal that will be too stressful to keep.
Say you're getting C's in school, so you want (and need) better grades. Instead of making a resolution for "getting all A's" make one such as, "bring my grades up to a B." After you met your goal, gradually increase your limit- so you can keep growing in that area, and become the best you can.

Also if you want to make sure you can achieve your goal(s), have an accountability partner! Get someone, or multiple people, to keep you on track. There are many ways for your friends, and family to keep you on track and motivated. Should they contact you via the internet, or call you? Do you want them to share the goal with you, so you keep each other accountable?
You can even have self motivation! Send emails to your self, and put up reminders around your house or work area.

Don't stress about keeping this goal, don't let it take over your life. But definitely push your self to achieve your goal.

No one knew what 2014 held for us, nor do we know what 2015 has in store.
Good luck this year with any goals, and dreams you set for your self!
